Honoring Those Who Mentor Artisans to Success

Jo’el Worldwear buys many products on a Fair Trade/Fair Wage basis from artisans and designers affected by war/conflict, human trafficking/slavery, refugee status and other economically-challenging situations. The “other economically-challenging situations” means that we can buy from artisans anywhere who are doing their best to sustain their lives through their talents. With that said, no artisan gets to where they are headed without a good teacher. Therefore, we also buy from the mentors themselves who continue to create as they instruct others in their trades – whether it is clothing design, embroidery or painting and jewelry-making like Randall is teaching here. Randall owns Artistic Creations in Virginia Beach, VA (USA) and has been teaching art for over 35 years. We Salute Randall!
