Poverty is like a disease that doesn’t recover without the help of good souls. The lack of basic necessities for survival creates child labor. It is a far- reaching problem because it is caused by this dilemma which is poverty. Because children don’t have a voice or a platform, they are vulnerable to those who are looking to use them. Child labor is mentally, physically, socially, and morally dangerous and harmful to children. As a result, it interferes with their education, their life, their childhood, their happiness, and their dreams. Child labor existed throughout most of human history, but it has reached new extremes during Industrial Revolution. The children often work long hours in dangerous factory conditions or any other rough jobs.
What can we do to prevent or stop child labor? Here are few suggestions:
- We need to prevent poverty by creating job opportunity for families.
- Raise the minimum wage.
- Donations from whomever capable to give.
- Donations from companies and businesses.
- Enforce labor law.

Giving to others is a great gift and it is rewarding. The person who has generous heart is always happy and content.
