Earlier this week, Australian Charity worker Katherine Jane Wilson was freed after 4-months captivity in Afghanistan. She was kidnapped from her charity office in Jalalabad, in April.
Known to her friends as Kerry Jane, she has worked in Afghanistan for around 20 years. She is the founder and executive director of Zardozi, a non-governmental organization supporting female artists and entrepreneurs in Afghanistan.
The Jo’el Worldwear team is happy that Kerry Jane is safe. Unfortunately, there are others who have been kidnapped in Afghanistan who continue to be missing. We ask all of you to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. While we celebrate the one who was found, there is still much to do. Change clothes, change lives!
